Printer Driver or Windows XP System Folder Difficulty?
This is a technical question regarding a printer driver set up to get a
Hewlett Packard Printer, although it may be any printer. The
pc is not going to enable any printer to be added – it says, simply
“unable to make file” and then, just before the printer is added,
the installation just disappears.

This is under Windows XP Pro. I suspect its a registry or folder
issue, or maybe a difficulty together with the pc locking up some kind of
file. We did extensive uninstalls and cleanups to attempt to get this
going.
